Dear Praying Friend,
Over the past thirty days, the numbers of texts, emails, letters, cards, and telephone messages I have received is overwhelming. Thank you for praying for my situation and please continue to pray. On February 20, 2024, my hematologist will communicate my case before a group of physicians who are responsible for placement on a liver transplant list. I am grateful to the Lord for giving me the energy and stamina to continue leading Agape and fulfilling the ministry purposes that He has called me to.
Please pray for me as I journey this weekend to First Christian Church of Roseburg, Oregon. I am excited to speak on Sunday morning and participate in their "All for One - One for All" Mission Conference. This wonderful congregation has supported Agape Flights for nearly 30 years.
Continue to pray for the staff of Agape Flights. They are completing the reading of a great book by Pastor Chris Hodges called “Pray First.” Moving forward, each staff leader will have two days per month they will be intentionally fasting and praying for the needs of Agape Flights and our missionary affiliates.
I hope you will join us for a Night of Worship in the hangar Friday, February 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We will be connected via livestream with hundreds of missionaries in Haiti, the Bahamas, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. If you are unable to be at this event in person, you also can join us via livestream. PRAY that this event will connect believers from area churches to encourage missionary partners throughout the Caribbean and pray that this event will be a testimony to our community regarding the marvelous power of God’s presence when His people come together to lift up the name of Jesus together!
Pray for the Agape Flights Hangar Expansion Project. Our contractor, J2 Solutions, has been working behind the scenes to gain permits, permissions, and approvals as we press forward to this dream becoming a reality. We are excited about the progress that has been made and anticipating the future.
Pie in the Sky is coming Saturday, March 2. This year’s theme is “Love is in the Air!” Please saturate this event over the next month with prayers and make plans to attend if you possibly can. I am grateful for our presenting sponsors who are helping to make this outstanding event possible: iBusiness Solutions, Girka Design Build, and Center Pointe Christian Church. Please fervently ask God to bless these two Christian-led businesses and this amazing Church family. Each of them is amazing and such an encouragement to Agape Flights!
