First Baptist Church of Venice, FL is not just a beautiful building on Miami Avenue. It is a family of believers and followers of Jesus Christ who are in a partnership to share and show the love of Christ in this community and around the world. The building is just one of the many tools God has given us to accomplish that task. One of our beliefs is that mankind is made in the image of God and that music and musical expression are gifts from Him. Music is a powerful unifier and it’s language is universal. We want children, teens, and adults to discover or re-discover this remarkable language. Additionally, we want to meet people; to form relationships and to build trust. Our desire is to know people and hopefully, at a moment of need, be able to minster to that family. The School of the Music Arts affords us the opportunities to give the gift of music in a safe environment and allow us to form new and lasting relationships with our community.
